I don't remember when I quit using it, but they basically ruined the site. I guess it was one of the only places accepting of that type of content, so it attracted everyone into that. I realize that krautchan/kohlchan always had a significant pedo population (I mean look at that visual novel they made) but it really went overboard. If it's gone, I suspect that's the reason. Still, unfortunate. End of an era.
Other than 4chan the only imageboard I use regularly is 8chan.moe, which is not that active. The only board worth using there is /v/. I think imageboards and imageboard culture have just gone by the wayside.
