For 2 years I lived in a right-wing paradise in the US. It was an isolated small town. It was like walking into the 1950's. Everyone there was of german/british/swedish descent. Arranged marriages between 5/10 white girls and 5/10 white boys were not uncommon. Literally 0 violent crime.

Guess what? It was a fucking horrible place to live. Everyone was pants-on-head retarded. Like, they had the white IQ but they didn't use any of it. It was just rote memorization of work duties. Everyone claims to be Christian in these communities, but less than 1% actually practice the religion. The men are all complete assholes that drink and smoke to cope with blue-collar life. They are snarky and bitchy like women, they don't listen to single teaching about masculinity from the local christian pastor. The gossip in these communities is fucking endless and life-ruining. Why do I (OP) care so much? I was accused of "abusing my wife" for grabbing her shoulders and forcibly moving her away from a pitbull. In less than 1 day, I was considered a wife-beater by every pearl-clutching conservative woman in the entire town of roughly 1000 people.

People are horrible to each-other, backstabbing, materialistic. Blue collar workers refuse to hire apprentices because they're afraid of being replaced by the next generation (yes, I'm serious).

I could go on and on and on. But you get the idea. I'm currently living in a leftist shit-hole with DEI and gay parades but at least for fucks sake I can mind my own business. I consider living in that small 1950's style town to be a low-point in my life. I still can't wrap my head around what I witnessed, because I THOUGHT I was a conservative. Now I just don't know. This life is just fucking awful. Too horrible for words. No where to run. No where to hide. Suffering no matter who's in charge of the government.
