dunno what kinda operation you got going there but a projector doesn't belong in a living room. a similarly-priced TV will always look much better because of how ambient light would ruin dark sections.
No.68864
I would be surprised if anyone else here has a projector. All 5 of them.
No.68865
Why not get a tv? This seems like a pain in the ass and presumably you'll need some sort of screen anyways to project onto.
No.68876
I've used one at a house before, it's best if u put up a dark curtain or smthn to project on

>>68864A friend of mine has a fancy projector in his basement home theater, and I'll just say this: even in the most ideal circumstances these things suck in all honesty. Through another friend who has a less properly housed projector as well I can also say that any setup short of perfect will look that much worse. I opted to get a very big TV instead (the screen is 7 feet) and-even though I don't use it much myself-when I have guests over (which also doesn't happen much l-...LOL) they're always impressed. There's a reason projectors are typically much less expensive, they sound much better on paper than they seem to be in practice. Get a tv, man. It's more expensive but ultimately it's a quality of life thing if you use it enough, right?

I paid $1,500 (usd obv heh) for my tv by the way, which you probably make in less than a week you cheeky cunt; even as a retail wagie and despite not turning the thing on but once a month maybe less on average I still think it was well worth it. I use it infrequently enough that I'm not habituated to it and find myself getting mesmerized by the video quality and scale.

But I would have to get a unit for it because I'm thinking of panelling my wall.
Everything in Australia is super expensive so I bet it'll be like four times the cost here. No.68927
It's always been a childhood fantasy of mine to use a projector to watch movies in New places like outside on the wall of a house on a starry night or maybe pointed at the ceiling or downwards at the ground of a lawn, it could really make some movies pop. Like a private drive in
No.68933
>>68927I was just thinking of that the other night, yeah a projector sucks compared to a TV but it definitely has its uses, they're small enough (even with a separate screen on a tripod or something) that you can easily bring them around with you. Watching a movie in the back yard having a couple of COLD ONES with THE BOYS would probably be pretty clutch

Every article refering to the wog bastards as boys and youths, the white lads getting sentenced for sending naughty text messages when shitskins were stabbing people and threatening to bomb the place and getting off with a few weeks community service.
Revolting stuff.
