Make sure the "All-Fi" router is elevated as high as possible, not on the ground, for best range. Make sure there is no metal, including mirrors, directly between the router and your laptop. Reboot/replug the router, maybe it'll automatically give you a less congested Wi-Fi channel. Test with an ethernet cable to rule out a wireless issue.

Moved the receiver roughly 4 feet above my laptop and maybe just as far across and to the left. Was getting around 35ms in Arms Race on Counter-Strike which doesn't seem too bad; didn't notice any spiking or too odd of behavior but I only played briefly, too. I can't remember what it is normally, I'm sure it's 15ms-maybe even lower-but even still, worth an extra $750 a year? I wish I didn't have my bill for my original service being due TOMORROW so I could have more time to experiment with this. I think I'm going to cancel the old service because one way or another it feels like I can live with whatever this is, at least long enough to renegotiate with the original provider.
I'm over here with 600mbs paying $120 when one of my Canadian friends is getting 3gbs for 70 CAD.
