I hope this song is mocking sports, because I don't like most sports. If I had to watch sports I would go for skateboard, rock climbing, MMA, or pole vault. Ball sports are for normie scum.

I've listened to this album a few times, the most memorable was when I was longboarding 8 miles with two riding mower blades duct taped to the underside of longboard.

When I was about 8 I saw a play that involved religious persecution. There was a song called "Burn, Burn, Burn," about burning witches, as I recall. I found it disturbing. Decades later I was in a thrift store and saw a gen x guy with a tshirt that said Apoptygma Berzerk. I asked him about it and he said it was a band. I looked them up and listened to this track, and it reminded me of the "Burn Burn Burn" song I'd known as a child. Anyways, I hope this Apoptygma Berzerk band doesn't really want to burn heretics because that's a bit extreme. Maybe just put a tattoo that says "Heretic" on them and exile them from the community. No need to get lethal.

That is incredible. I looked at the youtube channel and couldn't find any other tracks by that artist. Would love to see more from that artist or anything similar. I'm going to dump some stuff that is BROADLY in the same vein: Normies would hate it, but it's not death metal or some tiresome experimental shit.

This is a bit like Vitalic or LCD soundsystem or something. I don't know any other tracks by Fischerspooner. It's too bad the album art is this weird gender non-conformist. A better album art would be a piece of poop emerging from an Alligator or other reptile's ass. Reptiles are the least gross shitters.

 No.107438

Vitalic is a probably depraved bisexual french person whose brand of electronic depraved music has been stuck in my head a lot lately. Compared to the shitty country and pop music I hear sometimes working retail, it's much better to have a vitalic track stuck in my head.

 No.107439

This is some kind of post punk bullshit, it's not that bad but it's not good enough to justify the refugee looking person on the album art. Whenever I see starving third worlders in photos I'm filled with a very healthy and normal sense of pity and inspiration, which lasts for a few seconds. Sorry you had to read this and see the refugee looking album art.

Just listened to this while getting ready to go get a job at a tea shop. The first track that got my attention was close to the end, called Achilles' Brain. I can see why this band is famous but I don't think I'll seek out their other records.

Just did some googling and discovered that Venus In Furs is a band created for the movie Velvet Goldmine (1998) which is apparently about david bowie or some shit like that.

Anyways now I'm listening to something much more fun that I'll share shortly

3 minutes in, this reminds me of vitalic or fishcherspooner or something, it has a bit of a gothy post punk sound. 5 minutes in, it's a bit too poppy and traditional, I wanted mind melting tech house like vitalic, i don't think I'm going to make it all the way through this normie shit but I'll give it a bit more of a chance

I meant to add, A Perfect Circle's first two albums are flawless. The third one got a little rough but had some real bangers. The fourth one they made after how many years on hiatus? Absolute overproduced dogshit. So god damn disappointing.

Music collab with David Wise, composer of the DKC soundtrack. Didn't even know that nigga was still alive tbh.

They're getting old. We all are. Creativity and inspiration often taper off as your brain loses plasticity. There are obvious exceptions in history but they were often drawing off systems or inspirations that surrounded them or which they forged in their youth.

Time makes a ruin of us all. Hard to believe the brute in the mirror was once a handsome young man, or the middle aged mother of my children lying next to me was once a cute girl with colourful streaks in her soft brown hair.
