Below I put a bunch of random things that highlight the dynamics, from not wanting you to brain a cheaper out-of-house casket because the body may fall out, to insisting you need something you technically don't need, to figuring out who your family is and what they do to figure out how much money have, to life insurance inflating costs, to advertising prices that do not include other standard fees

Actually, in my country, a cemeterial plot of land, especially in a huge city is most valuable and of course a full-length stone or metal statue above of it is valuable too, but the second is optional. A stone statue is better because it will not be stolen to be delivered to a metal collection point.
However, the mountain crypts of Skyrim are sheer perfection, they are the standard of burial for members of the Nordic race.

In my country, anyone can buy a such premium-quality coffin (see the picture) for $1824. and this price is higher than the market average. There are cheaper options, and there are more expensive options.

You can cremate yourself, and someone will take your ashes to a river and let them flow down the river. Although, it's a matter of taste. Some people like to lie in the cemetery.

I'd like to be burned and turned into a knife blade or a precious stone set in a nice amulet. Rotting in the ground is depressing. I don't want my family feeling obligated to visit me. They can let me gather dust in a jewellery box then pawn me when my name's no longer spoken. I get to help descendants I'll never meet that way.
