If a boomer or other narc visits you or cold calls at your home and sees literally anything out of place then youre getting reported, bucko! Even if youre doing nothing exciting or illegal theyll still obsess until they find something on the obscure local ordinance books to sting you with, then its off to court to spend tens of thousands of dollars to show you're 'too difficult a target to bother with.' At which point theyll just shrug it off with zero consequences and try again later. If you have kids its even worse because theyll try to call CPS (or local equivalent) on you for the most inane shit, like seeing your kids playing in your fenced yard unsupervised and claiming the children are being neglected because no adult was hovering over them. It'll work too, then you gotta send your kids out of state to stay with their grandparents while you lawyer up and fight the bastards off. Expect them to come with armed cops to try and seize your little ones once you get the first letter, make sure they aren't on your property when they arrive.
Delivery drivers, contractors, religious doorknockers and other strangers have access to you unless you put up specific signage and lock your gates. Once theyre at your house youre at their mercy. But by putting up proper signage to stop snoops you make yourself a target for a different kind of harassment.
A good neighbour who respects privacy is a friend to cultivate. But some don't and all it takes is one bad actor with time on their hands to make your life hell. The more you commit to privacy the worse they'll want to know what youre up to. Up to and including nocturnal drone trespass or the regulatory equivalent of swatting where they'll call the ATF or forestry agencies or DEA (or local equivalent) on you and allege you're up to some variety of no good and need 'checking on.' Or theyll send cops up for a welfare check because 'they haven't left their land in a few days, its just not normal to be that isolated.' Those cops WILL be hostile if its your first interaction and theyll be looking for a reason to cuff you. Its just another reminder that your autonomy and dignity are at the mercy of hostile people to whom you've been nothing but friendly. Always you'll be asking yourself, 'why?' The answer, you'll eventually realise, is 'why not?' Insane rules are on the books and its a way for bored monsters to feel powerful. Its that simple.
Say you shoot a varmint, youll get cops rocking up for 'rapid fire assault weapon discharge.' You use a chainsaw to cut a fallen tree up to clear your path, you get forest cops raiding you to check for 'illegal logging.' It doesnt matter how friendly you are and it only needs one bored boomer or cunt woman nearby for this enforcement shit to be utterly relentless.
The harder you try to be left alone the harder the system and its repulsive bootlickers will try to get at you if only out of envy and spite. And it won't matter if you introduce yourself day 1 and your cute wife bakes them a cake, theyll just use it as an information gathering opportunity and work whatever angle they learn about against you. With these laws on the books it doesnt matter if everyone is friendly, literally all it takes is ONE psycho nearby and youre fucked. And just like in east Germany under the Russians this isn't by accident, its the system working as intended. We are all expected to inform on one another. Even if we don't all it takes is one rotten apple and the race to the bottom has begun. Its evil and by minimising it you're complicit.
