A curious incident occurred at an aerodrome in Arnstadt, EU-Germany. A B&F FK 9 ultralight aircraft had refuelled and was ready to fly, but the pilot saw a fearsome hedgehog on the runway. After assessing the situation, it was decided to stay put.

The hedgehog was doing its own thing. He was looking for food and did not care much about what else was going on around him. The kind employees tried to tell him that there was more food in the grass, but the animal would not listen. Therefore, the hedgehog remained on the strip.

As a result, it took half an hour to ‘negotiate’ with the persistent and hungry rowdy. All this time the airport was paralysed. But in the end the hedgehog took pity. He slowly and reluctantly went to a meadow nearby.
