In the city St. Petersburg, Russia, an African man was arrested for throwing bottles at an ambulance.
On 2 September 2024 on Science Avenue in Kalininskiy district, a mobile flu vaccination station was working. Then an unknown drunken man demanded from the ambulance medics to vaccinate him, but was refused by a nurse.
‘Offended, the drunken man took out empty bottles from the rubbish bin and started throwing them at the car, as a result of which he broke the windscreen, after which he fled,’ the police said.
The criminal case was initiated under the article on hooliganism.
‘On the nineteenth of September ... police officers established the identity of the debauchee. He turned out to be a 38-year-old citizen of one of the countries of North Africa, for several years living in Russia and already has a number of convictions for theft and robbery’, - stated in the message.
At present, the foreigner is kept in the detention centre, the Interior Ministry said.
