Robot Mall, China's first dedicated store offering a wide range of humanoid and consumer robots, has opened in Beijing. The store includes a showroom, service center, and spare parts warehouse, reminiscent of a car dealership, the BBC reports.

The store offers more than 100 models, from interactive robot dogs to humanoid ones, including one that looks like Albert Einstein. Prices range from 2,000 to several million yuan.

The launch of Robot Mall coincided with the opening of the World Robot Conference in Beijing. The event was attended by more than 200 companies with 1,500 exhibits from around the world. In addition to the exhibition, the Chinese capital is preparing to host the first-ever World Humanoid Robot Games, which will be held from August 14 to 17 and will include disciplines such as football, dance, and athletics.

It is noted that the store is located next to a themed restaurant where visitors are served by robot waiters, and dishes are prepared by automated chefs.

Earlier in China, the Xueba 01 robot was the first in history to enter a university.
