You can absolutely judge character based on appearance. This is even true of people born deformed a lot of the time as many end up resentful and bitter toward healthy attractive people and will leap at the chance to tear them down. Sad but true. The Hollywood depiction of the kind, sensitive fatty or the freak ennobled by their struggles in a world that sees them as monstrous is often a lie, as you'd expect from them. The truth is most fats are undisciplined and mentally ill and many uggos and deformed people succumb to bitterness, resentment and jealousy.
