People are really shortsighted in considering that also people want more and more out of life and not to just be a bunch of naked dumb cattle-like beings that only eat food but have no jobs, clothing, housing, etc. all of which requires tons of land to procure.
The planet is massively overpopulated already as proven by soaring house prices and the inability of everyone to have like 100 acres of land to themselves.

I think the problem of overpopulation mainly concerns China, the Asian countries closest to it, India and Africa. There is no overpopulation problem in the USA, Great Britain, the European Union, Russia. That's if you don't bring in whole trains of immigrants like cretins-politicians love. In the old days, the problem of overpopulation was solved in the old proven way, by war.
Right now, for example, Ukraine and Russia are mutually weakening each other, if they weaken sufficiently, then the Chinese-Polish border and the Chinese-Estonian border will appear. This will only make things worse for the European Union.
